haizz. one day after i condemned Sven Erikkson and praised Alex Ferguson.. it's now time to talk abt Man Utd.. they drew disappointingly with Man City.. they didn't simply create enough chances.. it seems to me that Man City had more shots on target.. Man Utd hav to certainly thank Edwin van der Sar for those crucial saves made.. especially the one at the last minute from former man utd player Andy Cole.. he could have sealed the game at the very last min if not for the fast reflex of van der Sar.. *phew*
i believe man utd went into the break with a lucky goal.. an instinctive move by Ruud van Nistelrooy.. i believe at that point in time, he had his heart in his mouth.. not sure whether if his goal was allowed or not.. but thankfully, Trevor Sinclair played him onside. Just.
I think Park Ji-Sung still lacks the confidence to score. Yes, he has to confidence to dribble and run at players no doubt. but he stills displays unselfishness when he could hav taken a shot or two. He gives his teammates too much respect. Prob he feels tt he's not the major player at man utd. yet. Take for example.. when he was played through by Wayne Rooney, he could hav taken a clear shot on target.. instead.. he chose to chip across the goal to Paul Scholes, who was heavily marked. and had no chance to score at all. it was hacked off the penalty area. Ya. so time for him to start shooting when in good positions.
mentioning Wayne Rooney earlier, I feel that he deserves an applause for his wonderful workrate during this game. he dropped back to midfield and started making his runs from there.. He was given the freedom to roam around. now i noe why he was frustrated in the England match. no space given to him though he could dribble. rather, the space was taken up by david Beckham, who by far.. cannot dribble..
Ok.. tt's not juz about all. but.. i cringe should Man Utd hav such a display in their upcoming champions league on thursday morning (Singapore Time) against Villareal against the likes of Diego Forlan (ex-man utd player.. 10 goals in 63 matches) and Roman Riquelme ( ex Barcelona).. scary
