Finally! yes, finally! the whole A lvl thing is over.. the conclusion is the result.. the result is the end.. so there i was in school today.. quite early. around 12.. supposed to meet my classmates for lunch. ha turn out that i was the 5th person to arrive in sch to collect results, as i was told by my junior. and none of them were my classmates.. haha. so i juz chatted my time away and waited for them to come..

Well, earlier in the morning, received an SMS from doro saying that GP had 95.6% passes and over 70 percent AB for chem!. certainly, i was surprised! coz i still remember that i couldnt do many of the chem questions. especially in paper3. thermody,NMR, and some lame definition of the reaction kinetic terms. ya. so i thought i blew my chance to get an A. so i gathered that there could be a case of moderation. such that the percentage became so high.

Anws, in the build up towards results day, ppl were asking me how. as in like wad u expect kinda stuff. i really din noe wad to expect coz i felt tt i din not perform as well as i did for prelims. as in the kinda of after-sitting-for-paper feeling. din feel too confident. moreover ppl were saying "u confirm 3 As lah" but i wasnt too sure myself. and it would be terrible if i did not get them. so i sort of prepared tt the worst i would get would be like BBC. haha. sounds nice. so sort of mental preparation.

OK enough background info. so coming back to today, the collection of results started at 2pm. but we got addressed by the new principal, which i wun address as ours.. haha coz we dun belong to her era.. anw. she went thru all the stats, compared to other batches and blah, mentioned the top indian,malay and chinese students. feeling juz got worse.. coz it's like 34 ppl failed GP!. and i could be one of them. so much uncertainties at that point in time. my gp has always had borderline fails or borderline passes. so they could always be a possibility. ya. anw by the time the teachers started issuing the results, i already received several messages asking how did i do.. haha i did not reply them till i got the results.,. Worse , i was the last in my class to receive the results coz we went by register order.. so my hands got colder and colder. i got shorter and shorter.

and finally it was my turn! haha i glanced at the result slip and poof! it became koko krunch. no tt din happen. i was so so so relieved and happy at the same time. it was an AAA plus b4. a b4 grade for GP which i hav nv ventured into before! and i asked ms chan whether i had to sign 3 times juz to make sure coz i already wasnt on earth at that time. somewhere else.. haha. then kenneth leong had to take my result slip and walk ard the hall. and i earned a few whacks and scoldings =x

went for lunch after that with jo,van and doro at this thai restaurant at sembawang. ate a little to save space for the dinner with family later at nght.hha. and to think i received SMSes from band ppl (including mr leng) regarding my results! i wonder there's a bush fire in the bandroom. it;s like a wild fire! then went for dinner at sizzler. ate potatoes. now im a couch potato. congrats.

anw i juz realised it's not the end of the a lvl saga! haha. i been cheated of a few pearls points! tt equals to 1 bonus point for my university entry. it's not a lot but it'se still a point.yes, A point. i wan every point of it. no la. but it was mine and thye took it away from me. something's wrong with it. no wonder PEARLS no more for uni entry nxt yr. perhaps there will be a class outing to sch to claim our PEARLS pts. so free u think.
