This basic question has left me thinking for awhile.. It arose during the time when my blog was really really stagnant and breeding mosquitos. The time when NEA says that breeds dengue. OK out of point already.

Yes, so why do we blog? Do we need to blog or do we want to blog? Are we blogging what we want to express or do we blog what people want to read? Is it a medium for us to know ourself or other people to know us? It could be both. But which do we want more?

Well, after blog surfing, it has posed me with more questions than answers. People complain about who and who, not revealing who but actually leaving very obvious hints. So do they actually want the person whom they really abhor to be made known of their feeling or hatred towards them? Do they also want the support of others in going against that particular person?

Also, why do we need to change blogskins? Sure, it does make the blog page really attractive and nice, but which is more important? The blogskin or the entries? What is the purpose of a blog? Is it really to show people that many people come to visit your blog?

Yes, sometimes we do pour out our feelings and people do come and comfort us. But are we really consoled by these one sentences tags? Or are we just assured that there are friends who care?

That leaves me to one final point. why am I blogging about this? Do I want people to identify themselves with my thoughts or do I just want to let my views be made known? An irony in itself for me to BLOG about this issue. hah.
