wow never in my band career hav i gone to someone's house to perform. I thought,"how to?" when theres one whole symphonic band. but on saturday, i saw how to. His house was super huge. it's a landed property, so there was space for a pool, many tables, a stage, a tent for the catered food. wow. we went there at 6pm. waited for the rain to stop, then the lion dance troupe started their item. followed by dinner, we cld take as well. porridge was served with abalone, liquor was free flow?!! so we only performed around 8pm. and it only lasted a few songs, which took 10 - 15 mins. and to end it all, $20 hongbao for each band member. there was like 20 - 30 of us. WOW.
